Wellness Coaching When You Know Your Goals But Need Support To Reach Them

Ongoing accountability, guidance, and personalized support for sustained wellness goal achievement.

KNOWING WHAT TO DO AND ACTUALLY DOING IT ARE DIFFERENT

You know you need to prioritize your health. You understand what wellness looks like. You have tried to make changes on your own.

But knowing and doing are different. Life interrupts. Motivation fades. You start strong and drift. You have accountability for work and family but no accountability for your own health. Your wellness goals keep getting pushed to the bottom of the priority list.

Most wellness fails not because the strategy is wrong. It fails because there is no consistent support, guidance, and accountability to keep you moving forward when motivation wanes.

That is what health and wellness coaching provides. It is the ongoing partnership that bridges the gap between knowing what to do and actually doing it consistently.

WHAT HEALTH AND WELLNESS COACHING IS

Health and wellness coaching is not telling you what to do. It is not judgment or criticism when you fall off track.

Health and wellness coaching is providing ongoing guidance, accountability, and personalized support as you work toward your wellness goals. It is understanding your complete picture and helping you navigate obstacles as they come up. It is celebrating progress and adjusting strategy when needed.

Through health and wellness coaching, you have consistent support for the wellness practices that matter to you. You have someone in your corner who understands your goals, knows your obstacles, and helps you stay on track even when life gets complicated.

WHO NEEDS HEALTH AND WELLNESS COACHING

Health and wellness coaching works for people who:

Have clear wellness goals but struggle with follow-through. You know what you want but you need support staying consistent.

Need ongoing accountability to stay motivated. You do well when someone is checking in on you and you know you are being asked about your progress.

Are working on complex wellness issues. You are addressing multiple concerns simultaneously and need coordinated support across all of them.

Want to integrate multiple wellness practices into your life. You want to address nutrition, movement, stress, sleep, and emotional wellbeing but feel overwhelmed coordinating all of it.

Face regular obstacles or setbacks. You start strong but life interrupts. You need support navigating obstacles without abandoning your goals.

Have already worked with other services and want ongoing support to make it all stick. You have gotten nutritional guidance or lifestyle changes but need help maintaining them over time.

If any of this describes you, health and wellness coaching can help.

Clarify Your Wellness Vision

In your first consultation, we discuss your wellness goals in detail. What does wellness actually look like for you? Is it more energy? Better digestion? Consistent movement? Better stress management? Improved sleep? Emotional resilience? We clarify what you are actually working toward.

Assess Your Current Reality and Obstacles

We discuss your current situation honestly. What is working? What is not? What obstacles show up repeatedly? What gets in your way? We identify patterns so we know what we are working with.

Build Your Personalized Wellness Plan

Based on your goals and your actual life, I help you design a wellness plan. This might integrate nutritional shifts, movement, stress management, sleep optimization, herbal support, or any combination depending on your goals. The plan is realistic and fits your actual life.

Establish Regular Check-Ins

You schedule regular coaching sessions, typically every 1-2 weeks. These sessions are your accountability and your opportunity to course-correct, problem-solve, and get guidance as you implement your wellness plan.

Navigate Obstacles Together

When obstacles arise, which they will, we problem-solve together. Something is not working. A new stressor shows up. You get sick. Life changes. We adjust your approach and keep you moving forward despite interruptions.

Track Progress and Adjust

We track the wellness practices that matter to you and how they are working. We celebrate progress. We identify what is creating shifts and what is not. We adjust your plan as needed so it stays aligned with your actual progress and current needs.

Build Sustainable Practices

Over time, your wellness practices become more automatic. Your habits stick. Your goals feel more achievable. You feel more confident in your ability to maintain your wellness without constant support, though you may continue coaching for ongoing accountability.

WHAT CHANGES WITH HEALTH AND WELLNESS COACHING

When you have consistent support and accountability, sustained change becomes possible.

Wellness Becomes Consistent

You stop starting and stopping. Your practices become regular instead of sporadic. Consistency creates results that single efforts never do.

Obstacles Become Manageable

Instead of derailing your entire plan, obstacles become something you problem-solve around. You have support figuring out how to adapt without abandoning your goals.

Motivation Stabilizes

External motivation and accountability carry you through the periods when your own motivation fades. You stay consistent even when motivation is low.

Multiple Wellness Practices Integrate

You are not juggling separate nutrition changes, movement, stress management, and sleep separately. They work together as part of your personalized wellness plan. Everything is coordinated and integrated.

You Feel Supported

You have someone in your corner who understands your goals, celebrates your progress, and helps you navigate obstacles. You do not feel alone in your wellness journey.

Progress Compounds

You have someone in your corner who understands your goals, celebrates your progress, and helps you navigate obstacles. You do not feel alone in your wellness journey.

COACHING WORKS DIFFERENTLY THAN SELF-DIRECTED WELLNESS

On your own, wellness gets deprioritized. Life interrupts and your goals fade. You lose momentum easily. You lack accountability.

With coaching, you have someone ensuring your wellness stays a priority. You have regular check-ins that keep you on track. You have someone helping you problem-solve obstacles instead of just abandoning your plan when things get complicated.

Coaching does not work for everyone. It works best for people who need accountability, who benefit from ongoing guidance, and who want consistent support for sustained change.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN YOUR FIRST CONSULTATION

Preparation

Before your first session, think about your wellness goals. What do you actually want to change? What have you tried? What obstacles keep showing up? Come ready to discuss honestly.

The Session

We talk for one hour about your wellness vision, your current situation, the obstacles you face, and what kind of support would help. I ask questions to understand what you need.

Assessment

Based on our conversation, I explain what health and wellness coaching would look like for you. We discuss the frequency of sessions, how we coordinate any other services you are using, and what kind of support structure works best for you.

Next Steps

If coaching feels like the right fit, we schedule your regular coaching sessions and begin building your personalized wellness plan.

COMMITMENT AND TIMELINE FOR COACHING

Coaching works best when there is consistent commitment.

Most people benefit from starting with weekly or bi-weekly sessions for the first 8-12 weeks while you are building your plan and establishing new practices. This frequency provides the accountability and support needed during the critical habit-building phase.

After you have established your practices and they feel more automatic, many people space out to monthly sessions for ongoing accountability and fine-tuning.

The timeline for coaching depends on your goals. Some people work with coaching for 3-6 months to establish their practices. Others continue long-term as an ongoing part of their wellness maintenance.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How is coaching different from the individual service consultations?

Individual consultations (nutrition, botanical, lifestyle) provide specific guidance on one area. Coaching integrates all areas and provides ongoing accountability. You might do a nutrition consultation then use coaching to stay consistent with it. Or you might do multiple consultations and use coaching to coordinate all of them.

Can I do coaching alongside other consultations?

Yes. Many people use individual consultations to get specific guidance, then use coaching to maintain those changes and integrate multiple practices. They work together.

What if I miss sessions or fall off track?

This happens. Coaching is not about perfection. If you miss a session, we reschedule. If you fall off track, we problem-solve what happened and restart. Consistency comes through regular sessions, not through never slipping.

How often do I need to check in?

This depends on your goals and your needs. Most people start with weekly or bi-weekly sessions, then space out to monthly once their practices are established. We determine what frequency works best for you.

What if my goals change?

Wellness goals often shift over time. We adjust your coaching plan accordingly. Coaching is flexible and responsive to your actual needs, not locked into one plan forever.

Is there a minimum commitment?

I recommend a minimum of 3 months to establish consistent practices and see meaningful results. But some people benefit from starting with an initial 6-week intensive period. We discuss what feels right for your situation.

Can I use coaching for multiple wellness goals?

Yes. Coaching is flexible enough to coordinate multiple goals. You might be working on energy, digestion, stress, and sleep simultaneously. We prioritize and integrate them into one coordinated plan.

How is wellness coaching different from therapy or counseling?

Wellness coaching focuses on wellness goals and behavioral practices. Therapy focuses on emotional processing and mental health. They are complementary. Coaching works alongside therapy but is not a substitute for it.

Will I feel judged or pushed during coaching?

No. Coaching is supportive, not judgmental. We celebrate progress and problem-solve obstacles without criticism. The goal is to support you, not push you or shame you.

Ready for ongoing wellness support and accountability?
